Baltimore, Maryland

Baltimore is known for the Inner Harbor, but what lies beneath? Baltimore is a great town filled with activities such as, the Aquarium, and the Baltimore Zoo. There are plenty of places to eat including fast food and fine dinning. The reason why I write this article is because I know Baltimore, and I have people all the time saying isn't it a bad place? Or are things like I saw in the HBO show The Wire?? Well time to let you in on a little secret.. Television is just that. Although one of my favorite shows, The Wire does not portrait the way Baltimore is ran. There is a high crime rate, and some of the homes are boarded up, However the drugs and murders are not "as bad " as they are in the show. If you find yourself traveling to Maryland then the Inner Harbor is actually a great place to have a fun time. There are some bad things that happen, but they can happen anywhere you go.
